I still font understand shy netbook makers are so stuck on this whole
"1gb" thing. Ya ya I know the story with Microsoft, but quite honestly
they should have chalenged that more. The Atom processor is a decent
proc for what most people would use a netbook for, but with 1gb it's
just hamstrung. When I went from 1gb to 2gb in my mini9 the difference
was amazing, especially with Windows.

--
Sent from my mobile.

I know I'm giving away the ending of my review, but if I could pop in a 2GB stick of RAM on the Booklet 3G, I would have already sold off my 1000HE and lied to my wife about how much the Booklet 3G costs. It's that good in all other areas.

Honestly, wait for the followup. I'm pretty convinced it's going to have a backlit keyboard, and a netbook with a backlit keyboard is a solid sale for me, as I use my netbooks in bed most of the time.

You know what's funny? With the exception of the 3G, everything you just named about the booklet are what I love about my Macbook Pro... and that's a GOOD thing! The 3.5mm audio in/out port, the strong casing, chiclet keyboard, etc. I STILL am skeptical about the unsubsidized price of this thing, but sounds like it's a decent machine.
